ASKING ALL PARENTS!!
Do you struggle in the month of December with buying your kids toys? My son is that kid at Target screaming to have a new toy every single time we go there!
How do you get a two-year-old to understand that he has to wait for Christmas?
He's in that stage where he understands Christmas but he doesn't have the ability to wait 20+ days for a toy he so desperately can't live without!
It’s such a struggle to find that middle! You want to give your child the world, but you have a duty to make sure they're not a menace to society! How did you find that middle ground with parenting?
Can anyone else relate?
Comment below and let me know-
Do I just tough it out for the greater good or do I give in to be jolly this Christmas time of year?? They are only little once
P.S. I feel like the Grinch this year because i'm not putting presents under the tree until Christmas Day cause if I don't I'm afraid everything will be opened by then!
Wait until Christmas!! I let my kids open 1 gift on Christmas Eve and it was the gift from their siblings. My kids were excited to give each other a gift... they helped picking it out and helped wrap it. I was worried on Christmas morning it would "be lost" among all the other gifts and the Kiddo receiving the gift would not know which one came from their siblings. But only getting to open 1 gift on Christmas Eve they knew who it came from. Also if they recieved a gift early (mail or hand delivered) I let them open it up so they knew Auntie So & So gave it to them and they truly played with the toy before Santa arrived. My Santa didn't wrap his gifts at our house so it was easy to see what Santa got them over what Mom and Dad got them. Santa can't have all the glory!!
